I’ve recently gotten into blogging as you can tell. One of the downsides I encountered is getting noticed out of all the millions of blogs floating around in the ‘net. Throughout my traversals of the Search engines, I came across John Chow’s site.
After spending some time poking around in his archives for posts covering my quandary, I came to realize that he has several Tech Related sites as well. Digital Grabber, (Digital Photography, etc.), The Tech Zone (obviously Technology related) and Laptop Gamers (Laptop gaming, duh!). Here is a man obviously enthralled by the technology of the world today, definitely intriguing to me. I’m not so much into the Digital Media side, but my fiance most definitely is and she will most likely get some use out of the Digital Grabber site.
John definitely has a grasp as well, on how to make money online. His blog has seen a meteoric rise through the almighty Google search rankings in part due to his extensive knowledge of Google’s algorithm’s and the importance of social networking on this grand thing we call the Internet. His site is laden with extremely helpful tips on how to increase Page Ranking and building a network of relative backlinks, both big players in Google’s underlying search structure. Part of his cunning is offering Bloggers a linkback to their site for reviewing his site. Since his Technorati rating is very high, it will boost the reviewer’s blog ranking once he posts the review on his site. Win, Win for both parties. Some might think this shameless, but he really does have a great site and deserves a good once over, regardless of your moral standing.
New (definitely) and Old bloggers alike will find a wealth of useful information on his site, so I highly recommend checking it out.

Thanks!
Nice beginnings to a tech blog you have over there, Cyber. Good luck!
Nice! I’ve been reading John Chow for about a year now. It’s about 9/10 garbage and about 1/10 pure gold.
It looks like you have a great blog here. I’ll subscribe and see if I can get the Technorati score up to 7. Keep up the good work.
Aloha,
Dave.
Thank you very much.
Just a little fish in a huge pond floundering along.
John’s blog has some really nice stuff like you said, once you pick through the reviews. I tend to go straight for the meaty SEO parts, but his food posts are nice in their own right.
I’ll return the favor, and if I ever need some SEO love, I’ll look ya up.
Thanks James, Great to meet you.
I saw your review on John Chow’s site today and wanted to know if you would be interested in a review exchange. Please visit my site for for review exchange rules, let me know if you are interested in a review exchange.
You did a good review of John’s blog. I also saw that he linked back to you. As 2 is better than 1, if you review my blog too (which has PR4), I’m going to link back to yours. You could always use an extra link, wouldn’t you?
All the best,
Simonne
I took a look at your blog and it has some very useful info. I’ll gladly do a review of your site. It may take me a day or 2, but consider it done.
Have a great day!
Sure thing. I like the twist to the link exchange you’re doing, by reciprocating a review instead of a link.
I’ll e-mail you when I get the review done and posted.
Have a great day!
